This month has been pretty exciting with 4 Etsy front page features, several blog mentions, an interview & my sample sale. I am also currently in the process of designing & manufacturing my springtime collection which I hope to have photographed & read to debut in the coming month.

Soles

Finally I have taken a few much needed photographs of the soles of my moccasins.

All my moccasins are softsoled so technically the have no sole. The bottom of the shoes is the same leather as the rest of the shoe. However, they are outdoor ready. I wear a pair just about every day. I don't recommend walking in puddles but damp pavement will not destroy them.

Tomorrow Friday January 22nd I will list 6 pairs of sample moccasins www.darlingtonia.etsy.com. Each pair of the sample moccasins was worn for less than one half hour to be photographed. They have touched grass, dirt and possibly crushed an ant or a chicken feather. These however have not been worn extensively. They are spotless & ready to be packaged & shipped to you!

Craft Gawker

I stumbled upon www.craftgawker.com a user submitted craft gallery, that features handmade art & crafts the other day & I decided to submit my Teal Tiger Lily moccasin. To my delight it was accepted & displayed like this...


It was on the first page Sunday & has now moved to the 3rd. I plan on submitting more of my moccasins in the future.
